Description:

The Judge Group is partnered with a large global leader in the automotive industry for a Human Resources Specialist to take on a newly created role within the organization.  The role supports a manufacturing site and will manage LOA's, Worker's Compensation, Employee Relations, Benefits and more.  Our client offers exceptional benefits and great work-life balance.

Responsibilities:  

• Promoting effective two way communication between employees and leadership
• Providing guidance with onboarding, orientation, training and development, performance management and workforce analytics
• Verify employee eligibility for leaves of absence and work comp claims
• Assist employees with benefits details and open enrollment 
• Handle issues related to employee relations including disciplinary, terminations and investigations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or commensurate HR experience
• 2+ Years of Manufacturing Human Resources experience
• Experience in a union manufacturing or distribution environment
• PHR, SPHR, or SHRM or other HR certification highly desired
